Why Mobile On-Site Purification Works Better
Most transformers and high-voltage switchgear are located in remote substations, distributed power networks and isolated industrial sites, far from central maintenance workshops. Transporting large volumes of insulating oil back and forth is costly, time-consuming, and risks secondary contamination during handling. The ZYD-M trailer-mounted Dielectric Oil Filtration System solves this problem by bringing full oil purification capability directly to the equipment on site.
Mounted on a road-legal trailer, the unit features a leak-proof base to prevent oil spillage during transit and field operation. Single or double axle suspension protects internal components from road vibration. After arriving on site, the machine can be quickly leveled with support legs, connected with oil hoses, and put into operation within minutes. Towing freely between substations, power plants and industrial facilities, one ZYD-M unit covers multiple distributed assets and replaces the need for several stationary purifiers. It also fits perfectly into standard 20ft or 40ft shipping containers for overseas delivery.
Dual-Stage Vacuum Purification Performance
ZYD-M is engineered for thorough dehydration and degassing of transformer insulating oil, and also supports purification of silicone fluid and other dielectric liquids. Its dual-stage vacuum system stably maintains -0.08 ~ -0.099 MPa deep vacuum, removing free water, dissolved moisture and entrained gas far more effectively than single-stage vacuum units. Multi-stage precision filtration further eliminates solid particles down to 1μm, quickly restoring oil dielectric strength to standard levels.
The Dielectric Oil Filtration System supports flexible working modes including tank oil processing, workshop filtration, and live online purification on energized or de-energized transformers. It can also serve as an independent vacuum source for transformer vacuum drying and vacuum oil filling. This high versatility allows one trailer unit to handle daily maintenance, new commissioning oil filling and emergency oil recovery tasks.
