Lubricating Oil Purifier

Lubricating Oil Purifier series includes TYA, TYD and TYR models, for recycling used hydraulic oil, gear oil, engine oil and other industrial lubricants in metallurgy, mining and heavy-manufacturing workshops. It removes water, emulsions, sludge, fine particles, and TYR variant further restores oil colour for batch-mode oil regeneration. It helps reduce waste-oil disposal cost and new-oil procurement expenses.

Common Lubricating Oil Problems

In-service industrial lubricants easily pick up contamination during daily production:

Free, emulsified and dissolved water from cooling-system leakage or humid workshop air
Sludge and oxidation by-products formed under long-time mechanical circulation
Metal-wear particles and dust ingressed from shaft seals and tank-breathing ports

Water-oil emulsification weakens the lubricating film, accelerates component wear and shortens oil service cycles. Timely purification restores oil properties and protects hydraulic and gear-driven equipment. Some waste oil also suffers from darkening colour caused by oxidation, requiring additional decoloration treatment.

Solid particle cleanliness reaches NAS 1638 Class 6

How to Choose the Right Lubricating Oil Purifier

1. Confirm your oil volume & required throughput

Pick flow rate so full-tank circulation completes within 3-5 hours for your waste-oil storage capacity.

2. Oil contamination level

Slight water and particle pollution: standard TYA indoor open-frame unit
Heavy stable emulsions or oil with extremely high water content: choose TYD high-water-content oil purifier; add pre-settlement tank before purifier inlet if large sludge load exists
Oxidized & darkened oil that needs colour restoration: select TYR purification & decoloration machine

Q: What is the difference between thin-film vacuum treatment and coalescer-only separation for emulsified lube oil?

A: Coalescer filters handle mostly free water. The 3D thin-film vacuum design strips dissolved water and breaks stable heavy emulsions, better suited for heavily-contaminated circulating industrial oil. For oil with extremely high water content, TYD molecular-demulsification model is preferred.

Q: Can I run this purifier continuously for 150 hours unattended?

A: Yes (for TYA series). Dual infrared plus float-type oil-level sensors together with pressure-temperature-vacuum interlock-protection support long-time batch-mode unattended operation. Pre-settlement is recommended if incoming oil carries massive sludge.

Q: Can TYA / TYD series work with phosphate-ester fire-resistant hydraulic fluid?

A: Standard TYA / TYD use ordinary carbon-steel material, not compatible with phosphate ester. Please select our dedicated TYF phosphate-ester purifier for fire-resistant-fluid maintenance.

Q: When should I choose TYR model?

A: Choose TYR when your waste oil is heavily oxidized and turns dark. It adopts pure-physical treatment to remove contaminants and restore oil transparency without changing oil chemical composition.

Q: What documents can you offer for factory-acceptance check?

A: Factory-performance-test reports and material-inspection records are available upon request.
