Products Description
The TY-Ex Turbine Oil Restoration Machine carries flameproof certification to Ex d IIB T4 and Ex d IIC T4, combining vacuum dehydration with 1 µm absolute filtration. It is built to remove water, gas and fine particles from turbine lubricants in Zone 1 and Zone 2 hazardous areas without introducing an ignition source.

Advantages
- Motors, control panels and junction boxes sit inside flameproof housings certified to Ex d IIB T4 and Ex d IIC T4; an internal arc or spark cannot reach the surrounding atmosphere, so the unit can operate safely where IIA, IIB or IIC gases are present.
- Gland seal leaks and condensation often form stubborn emulsions in steam turbine oil. A dedicated demulsification stage separates this water, and vacuum dehydration pulls dissolved moisture down to 50 ppm or below, restoring lubricant clarity and preventing moisture‑related scoring of bearings and governor parts.
- Fine metal particles and sludge from oil degradation accumulate in turbine lubrication circuits, causing valve sticking and journal wear. Depth‑type filter cartridges with large surface area catch these contaminants down to 1 µm, keeping the oil within required cleanliness limits and extending the service life of bearings and control valves.
- To reduce operator rounds in hazardous areas, infrared and float sensors monitor the oil level continuously. They are interlocked with the pump and heater so that if the level moves outside the safe range, the machine shuts itself down, preventing dry running and overheating.
